Cheng Man-Ch'ing short form

Hi senior students,


it has been approx three weeks now since we started to learn the short form and we have done it quite easily so far. Nevertheless, I have heard a knee giving cracking sounds here and there. And almost always my own ones as well. 'Snake creeps down' is a bit of a shocker. Yes. But keep on practicing. Be gentle with yourself, don't drive your body too hard.
Practice only when you have warmed up properly.
You can go down progressively if you like. Each time a bit deeper.
Give yourself a break every now and than. You can practice something less knee demanding in the meanwhile. No doubt we will make that posture look good as well!Soon. Even if you still fall down every so often ;-)
However, isn't it super that we got the kicks in the form?
